The year is 1931 … Prohibition is at a height, and the National Committee for Modification of the Volstead Act is formed to work for the repeal of prohibition in the United States. The president is Herbert Hoover. The city is New York. The stock market crash of 1929 is still causing large scale unemployment and financial insecurity across the country. Crime is at a peak.
Louie Hutch, a known member of the Sharpe ‘family’ - a loosely related crime family specialising in liquor trade is found dead on the evening of Friday January 30th with a single gunshot wound to the back of the head.
This game is a printable or boxed murder mystery party set in 1920s New York. There are 10 - 14 playable characters and an evidence pack to solve. I designed, created and produced this game. Illustrations by Marylou Mao.
